Yesterday was emotional – My Indie Business Day
You may have seen on our social feeds & on the website that yesterday we hosted our first ever Indie Business Day for small, independent businesses to dig deep into their marketing and business. Yesterday was about providing the opportunity for small business owners and sole traders to gather, connect & retreat in order to reset their marketing, learn new skills and find new direction in their business.
What a day it was. Despite the snow, rain & howling winds, all but 2 managed to make it to the iconic Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke on Trent – a warm, human place that has love and people at its heart not to mention the inspiring story of taking a gift for a Mum to a global design business.
We started late and ran late, drank a lot of tea, ate cake and fitted in a mind purchase viagra pills blowing tour of the factory filled with fabulous skills. The room was full with dedicated, brave and inspirational business owners who are building lives that take courage, tenacity and passion. We covered everything from the why to Google, from assets to tools and much much more.
The feedback has been brilliant, they day was needed and action and confidence has been fired up. Our day is for just 30 people at the moment, so we already have a waiting list for another one so watch this space.
I want to thank every single business that turned up body and soul and who gave so mush to the day. I feel humbled by the kind words and felt that I learnt so much from you all.
Here’s to small business and big love.
