Welcome to the club – TURN Education CIC
We often tell amazing stories on Simply Great Britain, but this one is particularly inspiring. Caroline Hardeman-Mason, founder and managing director of TURN Education CIC has brought her many years experience of working with young people with challenges in education to set up a new environment for learning at her small holding in Staffordshire.
Set up in January 2019, Caroline understood the powerful benefits of working with animals has on young people as they try to overcome the barriers they have faced in their learning. Caroline took a leap of faith to provide something innovative and powerful for those often in crisis and desperate to find help.
This amazing project, which has National Lottery backing, now provides a range of animal assisted learning services to help remove the barriers to learning.
Caroline & her team specialise in offering therapeutic and holistic learning activities to build programmes that help young people to re engage fully with a programme of education.
To do this they work with young people on their small holding learning how to cat for, enrich the lives of and understand the animals.
We are so excited to tell the story of TURN in the coming months and year as it grows the number of activities and services it offers to more children and young people.
What an inspiration Caroline & her team are. Find out more about them here.
