Learn Organic Gardening & Brocton Leys Apple Juice
We are very excited to be showcasing a great local company helping you learn organic gardening. Set on the edge of Cannock Chase in a unique and tranquil Edwardian garden, Learn Organic Gardening offer course programmes, one day courses and one to one consultation in their Soil Association certified organic garden. Their groups are deliberately small, ensuring everyone receives personal help and support.
The garden is now open to group visits and is also available to hire between May and Sept for you to host your own groups or activities including Yoga Meditation, photography courses and more..
Beverley is the owner and gardener and says, ‘We are a 3 acre Organic Edwardian period garden and, we are one, of only a handful of organic gardens, certified by the Soil Association. We have held certification from the Soil Association for 3 decades. We are passionate about what we do which is gardening in a sustainable wholesome way, looking after the Soil , plants and wildlife, working with nature, and therefore looking after the environment. Our garden is alive with birdsong and bees, and has a natural balance because of the diversity of the planting means that disease and pest attack are rare. We have many comments from people regarding having a special feeling, an energy. They describe it as a magical place. a gem.
Our old English apple orchard produces an Apple juice that has been crowned the best of the organic market by the Soil Association in 2019. I take group bookings at prior arrangement with a minimum of 10 persons.’
